ORDERING & RETURNS
When ordering from us, please state if you do not want a certain colour trim. We are afraid you can't really specify what trim you want as we use so many different fabrics, however, we are happy for you to just pop us a line to say if you really do't like something. This can currently be done via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, please state your order number when emailing. This process needs to be done as soon as the order has been placed so that we avoid putting the wrong colour with you order. If this is not done within 48 hours then we are afraid we cannot accept any responsibility if the colour chosen is one you don't like.
Every single order is a bespoke item, they are made to order so please make sure that you are ordering exactly what you want. If you have any queries, please ask BEFORE ordering as we will not be able to refund your order once it has been made and sent out.
We hope you can appreciate that each order takes a long time to cut out, make, sew and send. We are absolutely not a 'ready made' company so, we would like to reiterate, please direct ANY queries to us BEFORE you order.

The nitty gritty....
One of the joys of buying handmade clothing is that you get an item that not many other people have – or in Huxter's case, that is entirely unique to you. You can talk directly to us and get exactly what you want. You can have clothes made to your child’s exact measurements, or dresses that combine your favourite fabrics in one garment. However, you must be aware that buying something personal to you and your child means that it becomes custom made or personalised and therefore is exempt from the Consumer Contracts Regulations. That means that unless the item is faulty you cannot send it back if you just change your mind. If you provide your child’s measurements and the garment is made to those measurements you cannot send it back if it doesn’t fit. Similarly, if you ask for a dress to be made in several different fabrics and then decide that you don’t like how it looks you will be unable to send it back for a refund unless it is faulty.
We are always happy to talk to customers via email and help them decide the best size of clothing for themselves or their child. It is part of the handmade and personal service that is so important to us.
You should also be aware that PayPal does not support claims that are for custom made and personalised items.
